My first outdoor session of 2026 as a family photographer in Chattanooga was a blast! I got to hang out with the Halls at one of their favorite spots in Chattanooga, Cardboard Hill! With kids ages six and two, they love to run around at Renaissance Park and slide down the iconic hill together.
Originally, Lauren (same name as me!) wanted to do their photoshoot at her family’s farm which was an hour away. However, after talking to her husband, she thought, “Why don’t we go to one of our favorite places instead?” Say no more! I was all in!
We began our session at Renaissance Park, where soft, dappled back-lighting filtered through the trees as the kids ran freely and played around with their parents and each other. We wrapped things up at the top of the hill, chasing the sun and sliding our way down in bright, golden light. It was a mild, winter day in the lower 60s, upper 50s – the perfect day as a Chattanooga Family Photographer!
